Louis work is influenced by visual memories and the abstracted forms, textures and colour themes of dreams and the subconscious. He also draws on cartographic and sub aquatic images and forms to explore the planes and densities of space and altitude.

Richard is a landscape painter working in watercolour. His work is characterised by the use of vibrant colour and enhanced by the use of copper leaf. His paintings have a strong sense of belonging and place, developed under the influence of the music of John Tavener and the poetry of T.S. Eliot.
